Morgana approached the group and looked up expectantly at the men talking to Kade. I know that some of you are nervous, and a great many of you might be scared about traveling to the kingdom of Legeari and accepting the protection of King Dante, but it is what is best for our people. With Drentine in turmoil, we must remember how important it is to safeguard our bloodline, and most especially, we must keep our women safe and free from the clutches of those who would use them for the wrong reasons. This journey is going to be long, and most likely difficult at times, but we are strong, and we are even stronger together,” he commanded, his voice carrying with power over the clearing.

Every pair of eyes was fixed on him, adoration and loyalty painted on each face. They really did rely on him, and she could see all of them following his every word. His pack truly accepted him as their one and only leader. It was truly amazing for her to watch.

All at once, the men quickly disrobed and shifted into their wolf forms. Nearly fifty wolves stood around her, and the women came and collected the discarded clothing. Kade beckoned her over to him, handing her his shirt.

Her gaze was captured by his muscled chest, rippling as he moved to unbutton his jeans.
